I went ahead and made the champagne gelee cocktails mentioned a few posts ago for Beth’s birthday party, which also featured lobster rolls and coconut cake. DECADENT. Martha Stewart didn’t steer me completely right – there was some improvisation necessary, and their structural integrity was less like the glorious icebergs of the photo and more like the jello shots you remember from college – but the drinks were tasty and appreciated by the pink-loving birthday girl.
