My parents are currently somewhere over the US, on their way home after a really good (rainy) visit. We looked at wedding dresses, watched the Olympics, stuffed our faces, visited our (likely) wedding venue, cuddled on the pullout couch, and watched Mike play a show at El Rio.
The highlight, though was our engagement party yesterday at Tacolicious. It was a delicious, fun, beautiful, and utterly delightful day. The full set of photos is here, and below are a few of my favorite shots. I loved eating queso, drinking margaritas, and toasting so many members of our San Francisco family. There were babies, two new marriages(!), a lot of cracking up, and some interpretive ice dancing. If our wedding is going to be anything like yesterday, I’m really, really pumped.
