Seattle, for the first time

This weekend we took a quick trip to Seattle, because despite living on the West Coast since 2005, I had not been. It was absolutely delightful. We stayed in a lovely hotel, a nice change from the mixed bag of AirBnbs we’re used to. As we usually do, we ate and drank and spent time with friends and saw some excellent sunsets. I caught up with a childhood neighbor I haven’t seen since we graduated high school, and got to know Mike’s editor and his wife, who generously squired us around for three days straight. Oh, and I saw Macklemore on a walk.
