The six months since I joined the board of Exhale have been NUTS, all leading up to this past week, and straight on til morning. Our executive director Aspen recently gave the first TED talk on abortion, her book came out soon after, and on Tuesday we threw a party at the Oakland Museum to celebrate it all.
My friends, who are wonderful, came out in droves. So wonderful.
I think this Bustle review of Aspen’s book is as pro-voice as it comes: the writer does review the book, but does so by pulling out the main tenets and applying them to Real Life. Which is exactly what the book is meant to inspire people to do.
This is good. Real good.
